Update from State Senator Bob Peterson

Vinton County's New Campbell's Market Improves Access to Fresh Produce and Groceries
I recently joined area leaders in McArthur for the grand opening of Campbell's Market. I was honored to participate in the opening ceremony, and I look forward to watching how the growth of local resources and new job opportunities improve the quality of life for area residents.

Local Parks Receive Grant Funding
I am pleased to announce that 13 area parks were chosen to receive funding by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Well-maintained parks contribute to an enhanced quality of life for area residents and help spur our local tourism industry. Investments like these have made Ohio's vibrant park system one of the finest in the nation.

Recognizing Leaders at
Appalachian Heritage Luncheon
During the Appalachia Heritage Luncheon earlier this month at the Ohio Statehouse, I had the opportunity to recognize Adena Health System for its rehabilitation of Chillicothe's historic Carlisle Building. This $7 million project has played an important role in the revitalization of downtown Chillicothe.
