Reminder - National Weather Service Weather Spotter Training in WCH

NWS WILMINGTON OHIO SPOTTER TRAINING SCHEDULE

On Thursday, March 22, from 6 till 8 PM, the NWS is conducting a training class for volunteer severe weather spotters.  The class will be held at 101 E. East St, in Washington Court House. (map)

The class is free and open to the public.

You do not need to be a resident of the county in which a talk is being held in order to attend.  Each class is led by  a National Weather Service meteorologist who will discuss techniques and safety for severe weather spotting.  Once you attend a class, you are an officially trained spotter and can report severe weather to your NWS office.
