A day or two ago, a friend contacted me via LinkedIn. He had seen a
change in my status and inquired, further. His inquiry caused me to
think; good questions deserve good answers. What follows is the
question and the response.
Question:
"What types of things has Boylan Publications, LLC published, Bill?...
and what might it consider publishing in the near-term future?"
Reply:
Hello
and thanks for the inquiry. B.P. LLC publishes two blogs. I haven't
been able to write much on my own, lately and am relying on certain
regular features like "The American Political Zone" and the Roots in
Ripon series. There is a staff writer, Brian Clark, who makes a
substantial contribution to The Middletown Insider. (http://www.middletowninsider.com/)
I
welcome contributions from readers, the general public, the library
schedule, press releases, Chamber of Commerce announcements, OP eds and
updates from elected officials, letters to the editor, commentaries,
etc.
The newest venture, is The South Central Bulldog which is
similar in focus to the Insider. While there are plenty of things of
interest to both Ohio and Connecticut, the Bulldog is more centered on south central Ohio. https://southcentralbulldog.blogspot.com/ . It is only a couple of months old and has yet to take root, such as has the Insider.
As
for the future; there are a number of things that have been on the back
burner for too long. There is a piece concerning autism that was
submitted for publication, a story with photos and videos of the the
jazz fest that needs writing. Then, there is a fourth part, and a
follow up to the 9/11 Project series.
If you care to submit a letter to the editor, or a commentary; I'd be happy to consider it for publication.
Thanks for asking; you got me to think!
Editor in chief,
William Boylan
