The Fayette County Commission on Aging was named the November Business of the Month recently by the Chamber of Commerce Ambassador team. With Veterans Day in November, the organization was chosen because of all it does to honor and serve veterans.

Located at 1179 S. Elm Street, the Commission on Aging provides a free lunch to all veterans on Veterans Day. The Veterans Wall is a place where any community member can display a photo of a loved one who once served in the military. All photos are cataloged for reference and kept on permanent display.

The Commission on Aging provides a variety of services to all seniors, including meals on wheels, supportive services with Medicare, transportation, daily activities and congregate site meals.
