This Sunday, at 8:00 a.m., thousands of people will gather in lower Manhattan with their families and friends for the 6th annual 9/11 Memorial & Museum 5K Run/Walk and Community Day.
It's one of our favorite events of the year — a chance to come together, not only to remember the victims of 9/11 and honor those who risked their lives, but also to celebrate how far our city has come.
Even if you can't join us in person, cheer on this year's participants by making a donation of $25 in their honor today.
Like our nation, New York is diverse and vibrant with an unbreakable spirit. On Sunday, we will run or walk together up the West Side Highway — the rebuilt World Trade Center standing tall by our side — as neighbors and loved ones cheer us on. It's a remarkable symbol of how far we've come as a community, a city and a country.
Please consider giving $25 to support all those participating in Sunday's 5K Run/Walk and Community Day:

Any amount you give will directly help the 9/11 Memorial & Museum carry out its mission to honor the memory of those killed on 9/11, and educate and inspire future generations.
Thank you,
9/11 Memorial & Museum
